Mary Catherine Shurett is a feminine embodiment guide, ceremonial facilitator, author of the book “Home”, and creator of the Feminine Embodiment Practice, “V.”. Through feminine frameworks and nurturing immersive containers, Mary Catherine guides people to lovingly and effectively strip away societal masks and religious programming, establish a profound connection with Love and reconnect with the instinctual nature of their animal bodies.

At the heart of Mary Catherine's offerings is her signature movement method, "V.," a somatic-based practice tailored for women seeking more depth from their movement experience. This unique practice utilizes primal movement, sound, and vocal toning to seamlessly link and affirm the connection between women's pelvic floors to their voices. The distinctive sequencing of "V." effectively guides women to drop out of their minds, release stress and holding and connect with their bodies, where true gnosis resides.

As a result of practicing V, women experience greater access to pleasure, increased intimacy with self and others, heightened creativity and embodied self-trust.

Her certification journey began in 2010 with an Integrative Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where she met her teacher Jena LaFlamme. Under Jena’s guidance, she immersed herself in the study of the feminine arts and Tantra for four years, eventually becoming an official “Pleasure Ambassador” of Jena’s work. She later obtained certifications in Somatic Coaching (“Body Based Breakthrough”, Matthew Cooke) and Pranic Energy Healing (“Energy Mastery”; the work of Master Stephen Co)

From 2016 to the present, she has studied closely with Amber Hartnell, founder of the Temple of Wholeness, a non-profit church organization based in San Diego, CA, that serves Navy SEALs, veterans, and members of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Mary Catherine served as Head of Operations for the Temple from 2019 to 2023 and has been deeply influenced by Amber's teachings within SOMA: Transformational Arts Mastery School, created by Amber and her partner, Dr. Matt Krienheder.

When Mary Catherine is not guiding embodiment and integration, she can be found being her projector self and enjoying alone time in her "tree" house near downtown Austin, TX or spending time with friends , dancing, drumming, at hot yoga, staying up to date on emergent psychedelic, sound therapy and somatic research and jumping in Barton Springs!
